Monster Day Greeley, may now be referred to as “The Award-Winning Monster Day Greeley!” Earlier today, Downtown Colorado Inc. (DCI) presented Monster Day Greeley a 2018 Governor’s Award for Downtown Excellence for best event, festival, or recurring activity.

All of the folks working behind-the-scenes to make Monster Day a success are proud to see it recognized among such amazing projects.Thank you to Downtown Colorado Inc., and thanks to everyone who came to share their love of all things ‘monster’ at last year’s event.

We’ll take a weekend to celebrate, but then it’s back to the task at hand…making Monster Day 2018 even bigger and better than it was last year. We’ll see YOU on August 18, 2018, in Downtown Greeley!

The Governor’s Awards for Downtown Excellence will celebrate the amazing projects and people that are committed to economic and community revitalization in Colorado. In an exciting continuation of a partnership developed in 2016, this year’s gtgawards will also be held in conjunction with the Colorado Chapter of the Congress for New Urbanism (CNU), which will be presenting their bi-annual awards with DCI’s.
