Greeley is about to get loud, spooky, and spectacular. Monster Day Greeley 2025 isn’t just taking over Saturday — we’re kicking things off early with a Friday night party you won’t want to miss. You might get to see a few monsters creeping around.
Join us on Friday, August 22, from 6–10 p.m. in Downtown Greeley for a Monster Day Kickoff Concert like no other, featuring live music, community vibes, and a spooky twist on Downtown Greeley’s beloved Friday Fest tradition.
A Free Street Concert with a Monster Day Makeover
In true Friday Fest fashion, the streets will be closed to traffic, open to dancing, and filled with all the energy of a summer block party. But this time, it’s got a monster-sized twist. Costumes are encouraged, the music is themed, and the vibes are otherworldly.
The Lineup is Frightfully Fun and Freakishly Talented
My Favorite Bands
Get ready for a nostalgia-packed set of Halloween and horror-themed hits that will get your bones rattling and your feet moving. Expect eerie classics, monster jams, and spooky sing-alongs, perfect for warming up the crowd and setting the mood for Monster Day weekend.
Metalachi
Yes, you read that right. Metalachi, the world’s first and only heavy metal mariachi band, is headlining our Monster Day Kickoff Concert. Born in Los Angeles after a wild night of tequila and guitar riffs, Metalachi has spent over a decade bringing their high-energy, genre-bending sound to fans across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
They’ve rocked legendary venues and events like Heavy Montreal, Monsters of Rock Cruise, and Megacruise. Now they’re headed to Greeley to mash up your favorite metal anthems with mariachi flair. It’s theatrical, hilarious, and completely unforgettable. Trust us. You’ve never heard Ozzy or Metallica quite like this.
Sip While You Stroll with the Greeley Go-Cup
Want to enjoy a beverage while you roam? Thanks to the Greeley Go-Cup Entertainment District, you can. Those over 21 can purchase an adult drink from a participating downtown business, have it poured into an official Go-Cup and you’re free to sip as you wander the plaza during Friday Fest.
Look for the Go-Cup logo on your cup, and stay within the marked district boundaries. It’s a relaxed, responsible way to enjoy the evening while supporting local businesses.
