Downtown Greeley was once again transformed into a playground for creatures of the night on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025, as thousands gathered to celebrate Monster Day.
One of the biggest highlights of the festival is always the costume contest—and this year’s showdown did not disappoint. Contestants went all out, bringing larger-than-life props, elaborate makeup, and jaw-dropping creativity to the stage. With over $2,000 in prizes up for grabs, the competition was fierce as participants vied for the coveted title of Monster Day Champion.
The streets brimmed with every kind of monster imaginable: classic icons like vampires and Frankenstein’s monster stalked the crowds, while one-of-a-kind original creations left spectators both amazed and spooked.
