The monstrous hordes descended upon Downtown Greeley once again on Saturday, August 17th, 2024, transforming the city into a ghoulish playground for Monster Day. While the day was packed with frightful fun, the highlight for many was the hotly anticipated costume contest, hosted by Anderson Farms’ Terror In The Corn.
This year’s competition was fierce, with participants pulling out all the stops to impress the judges and claim the coveted title of Monster Day champion. The streets were teeming with terrifying creatures, from classic horror icons like Dracula and Frankenstein’s monster to imaginative original creations that would give you nightmares.
The level of detail and craftsmanship in the costumes was simply astounding. It was clear that countless hours of painstaking work and a whole lot of passion went into bringing these monstrous visions to life. Every stitch, every brushstroke, and every gruesome accessory contributed to the overall spectacle, making it a truly unforgettable experience for both participants and spectators alike.
Monster Day has proven once again that it’s more than just an event – it’s a celebration of all things monstrous and magical.
